Review notifications
Notifications draw attention to school events relevant to the signed-in user. They can cover items such as absence, a session, a newly assigned student, Learning Plan review or publication, and API key health where applicable.

Review an item
Section titled “Review an item”- Confirm the active school.
- Open Notifications or View all notifications.
- Read the title, time, and described record.
- Follow the available destination and inspect the source record.
- Perform the required task in that record’s screen.
- Choose Mark as read when the alert has been reviewed.
An alert is not the authoritative attendance, session, assignment, or key record. Marking it read does not resolve the underlying issue.
Mark all as read
Section titled “Mark all as read”Use Mark all as read only after scanning the complete unread list. This changes notification state for your account; it does not change other users’ notifications or the records that generated them.
Common notification types
Section titled “Common notification types”- Absence alert: verify the session attendance and contact process.
- Session reminder: confirm the halqa, date, and responsible sheikh.
- New student: verify that the learner belongs in your assigned halqa.
- Learning Plans: review a proposed assignment or note that approved work was published.
- API key notice: an authorized administrator should inspect key expiry or staleness without exposing its secret.
Missing or unexpected alerts
Section titled “Missing or unexpected alerts”Confirm the school, role, assignment, and read/unread state. A record can still exist even if an alert was not generated or has already been read. If an alert reveals a student or school you should not access, do not open more data; report the permission problem immediately.
