Sheikh checklist
Your sheikh membership gives you teaching access inside a specific school. It does not automatically grant school settings, staff management, exports, or service-wide controls.

Before the first session
Section titled “Before the first session”- Accept the invitation using your own account.
- Select the correct school after sign-in.
- Check My learners and confirm the expected halqa or students appear.
- Ask a school administrator to correct missing or unexpected assignments before recording data.
- Review whether Learning Plans are enabled and which planning actions your school’s policy expects you to perform.
Run a daily session
Section titled “Run a daily session”- Choose Start session.
- Confirm the date, halqa, and teacher.
- Mark attendance. Use the actual attendance state; do not add a recitation for an absent learner to work around a missing status.
- For each participating student, add the Quran range, result or quality rating, repeats, mistakes, and permitted notes shown by the form.
- Review the entered records while the session is open.
- Add session notes only when they belong in the shared school record.
- End the session when teaching and review are complete.
An ended session remains part of the audit and reporting history. If something is wrong, use the supported correction workflow or contact a school administrator instead of creating a second session to conceal the mistake.
When Learning Plans are enabled
Section titled “When Learning Plans are enabled”You may be able to view student plans, create manual assignments, generate a future window, approve a batch, replace or transition assignments, adjust permitted planning configuration, and resolve ambiguous recitation matches. The exact action depends on the student’s effective policy and the assignment state.
Always compare the student’s actual recitation with the proposed assignment before approval. Generated work is a planning aid; teacher judgment remains necessary.
Data and privacy
Section titled “Data and privacy”- Work only in the selected school.
- Record objective teaching information and only necessary notes.
- Do not place passwords, invitation links, medical details, or unrelated personal information in notes.
- Lock or sign out of shared devices.
- Report a student or school you should not see rather than opening its data.
