Read progress, recitations, and attendance
The child view brings together recent teaching records and available progress summaries. Read dates and source records before drawing conclusions from a total or percentage.

Read the summary
Section titled “Read the summary”- Open Children and select the child.
- Verify the active school, child name, and halqa.
- Review:
- Total recitations;
- Total lines;
- Average rating;
- Repeat attempts;
- Attendance rate.
- Scroll to Recent recitations and compare the recitation type, date, Quran range, rating, repeat marker, and recorded line workload.
- Scroll to Attendance history and compare the meeting date, halqa, and recorded status.
A zero rating is shown as a repeat attempt and is not counted as positive progress. Totals can change when the school records new sessions.
Read Quran page coverage
Section titled “Read Quran page coverage”When Student page coverage is available:
- Open it from the child page.
- Review the selected period and recitation type.
- Distinguish fully covered, partially covered, and untouched structural pages.
- Use milestone information as a navigation aid, not as a separate teaching assessment.
The link can be unavailable when Learning Plans visibility is off or the required page-position capability is unavailable. Line totals and structural page coverage are different measures.
Read published assignments
Section titled “Read published assignments”Eligible Learning Plan work can appear under Published assignments and in Progress:
- verify its due date or next-session context;
- read every ordered Quran segment and recitation type;
- use it to prepare, but follow the responsible teacher’s instruction if it changes.
Parents never approve or edit the assignment. Missing work can mean that no assignment is currently published, the plan is not active, or the school hides assignments from parents.
Ask the school about discrepancies
Section titled “Ask the school about discrepancies”Contact the school with the child, date, and visible record when:
- an attendance status differs from what happened;
- a recent recitation is missing or has an unexpected range or rating;
- the wrong child or school appears;
- a teacher-announced assignment is not visible.
Do not create duplicate accounts or submit another learner’s details. The school owns correction of its teaching records.
