What is Waqar?

Waqar is a bilingual Quran-school management application. A school uses one workspace to manage its people, teaching structure, daily records, learning plans, and reporting. Access is role-based: users see the schools, children, and actions assigned to them.

The main records relate to each other in this order:

1. A school is the protected workspace.
2. A semester defines a reporting period.
3. A halqa groups learners and can be assigned to a sheikh.
4. A student belongs to the school and may be assigned to a halqa.
5. A session records a teaching meeting for a date and halqa.
6. Attendance and one or more recitations are recorded inside a session.
7. Optional learning plans turn a destination and workload policy into assignments, then compare actual recitations with those assignments.
8. Reports summarize the resulting school, halqa, student, session, page, milestone, and planning data.

Parents use invitations to gain limited visibility into a linked child. API integrators use scoped keys created by an authorized school administrator.

Waqar supports Arabic right-to-left and English left-to-right interfaces. The language choice does not change a user’s permissions or the underlying school data. Quran references, identifiers, and code remain readable in their natural direction inside either interface.

Three independent checks can affect what you see:

• Role: whether your membership permits the action.
• Plan or feature entitlement: whether the school has access to the feature.
• Rollout control: whether a controlled capability, such as API access, has been enabled.
