Create a destination and Learning Plan

A destination defines where a learner starts and where the current Learning Plan should end. Only a school administrator can create or change it.

• Enable Learning Plans.
• Confirm the learner, halqa, and current teaching context.
• Agree on a realistic target date.
• Confirm the intended Quran direction.
• Select only workload tracks the school will actually teach and record.

1. Open Progress → Learning Plans.
2. Choose Create Learning Plan.
3. Select the learner.
4. Enter a clear Plan name.
5. Set Period start and Target completion date.
6. Choose Curriculum direction:
   • Ascending surahs and ascending ayahs follows canonical Quran order.
   • Descending surahs and ascending ayahs works through surahs in descending order, while every segment inside a surah still runs from a lower ayah to a higher ayah.
7. Set the Start position and End position.
8. Select the offered, validated Quran dataset appropriate to the planned workload.
9. Add and configure the required recitation tracks.
10. Choose an Initial status of Draft or Active.
11. Optionally save the destination as a reusable school template.
12. Submit the form, then verify the learner, range, dates, tracks, policy, and status on the plan page.

Waqar rejects a reversed, impossible, or out-of-range destination. A learner cannot receive a second current draft, active, or paused plan.

1. Open the plan and expand Edit destination and pace.
2. Change the name, target date, endpoint, or available track pace.
3. Choose Save changes.
4. Review the replacement future assignments before publication.

Only generated, unstarted future work is eligible for automatic replacement. Completed, in-progress, manual, and teacher-edited evidence remains preserved.

A destination template reuses the direction, range, and intended duration. It does not bypass learner selection, effective policy, dataset capability, or human review.
