Read the school dashboard

The dashboard is the operational starting point for the active school. It summarizes current records and links to the tasks allowed by your role.

Confirm the school name in navigation. Dashboard totals always belong to the active workspace, not to every school attached to your account. A school administrator and a sheikh can see different actions on the same dashboard because their roles differ.

The available cards can summarize active halqas, students, sheikhs, today’s sessions, and resource usage. Treat them as entry points:

  • open Halqas to review teaching groups and assignments;
  • open Students or My learners for learner records;
  • open Sessions to review history or start permitted daily work;
  • open Reports for authorized aggregates and exports;
  • open Settings for school configuration and effective availability.

A total is not proof that every underlying record is complete. Open the relevant list when investigating a missing student, inactive halqa, or unfinished session.

The dashboard notification area highlights current items for the signed-in user. Open an item before marking it read so you understand the school and record concerned.

Notifications support attention and do not replace the underlying record. Resolve the session, invitation, plan, or capacity issue in its own screen.

When Start session is available, verify the date, halqa, and sheikh before creating the session. If an open session should be continued, use Resume session rather than making a duplicate.

  1. Confirm the active school and current semester.
  2. Open the source list and check active/inactive filters.
  3. Confirm your role and learner assignment.
  4. Check whether recent work was saved or the session ended.
  5. Ask a school administrator to inspect effective limits or configuration.

Do not create replacement records merely to make a dashboard total look right.
