Replan future work safely
Replanning adapts eligible future generated work after the learner’s plan or recorded outcome changes. It is deliberately future-only.
What can trigger replanning
Section titled “What can trigger replanning”Waqar can replan after:
- a repeat or partial-completion outcome;
- a pace or teacher edit;
- a plan pause;
- a destination change;
- explicit regeneration;
- supported absence or scheduling maintenance.
Automatic replanning requires an active plan, enabled automation, and a publication policy other than Teacher managed.
What Waqar may replace
Section titled “What Waqar may replace”Eligible items are generated assignments that:
- have not started;
- are draft, published, or postponed;
- fall on or after the replanning date.
They become Superseded, and new generated assignments are linked as their replacement where applicable.
What remains untouched
Section titled “What remains untouched”Waqar preserves:
- completed work;
- work already in progress or under assessment;
- repeat follow-up assignments;
- manual assignments;
- teacher-edited replacements;
- recorded recitations and their outcomes;
- the old assignment and generation explanation in history.
This boundary prevents a new forecast or policy from rewriting what actually happened.
Change destination or pace
Section titled “Change destination or pace”- Open the active plan.
- Review current assignments and note any work already started.
- Expand Edit destination and pace.
- change only the intended endpoint, target date, or track target and tolerance.
- Choose Save changes.
- Review all superseded and replacement assignments.
- Approve replacement drafts if the policy requires approval.
Regenerate one eligible assignment
Section titled “Regenerate one eligible assignment”- Open the plan and find a generated draft, published, or postponed item.
- Confirm that no teaching evidence has begun against it.
- Choose Regenerate.
- Compare the old explanation and segments with the replacement.
- Publish only after the new range is correct.
Pause or resume a plan
Section titled “Pause or resume a plan”An administrator chooses Pause to stop future automation. On Resume, Waqar can maintain the configured future window using current settings and supported data. Review any new drafts before teaching.
If replacement does not occur, check the plan status, effective policy, automation pause, dataset capability, and whether the work is protected by the preservation rules.
