Parent checklist
Parent access is created by a school invitation and is limited to linked children. Availability depends on the school’s plan and feature settings.

Accept an invitation
Section titled “Accept an invitation”- Confirm that the message came through the channel you expect from the school and names the intended child or school.
- Open the invitation on a private device. Treat its link like a temporary credential; do not forward it.
- Sign in with your own Waqar account, or complete the account step presented by the invitation flow.
- Review the school and invitation details.
- Accept the invitation once.
- Select the school if Waqar asks you to choose a workspace.
If the link is expired, already used, sent to the wrong address, or identifies the wrong child, stop and ask the school to issue or correct the invitation. Do not create duplicate accounts as a workaround.
Follow a child
Section titled “Follow a child”Open Children or Follow children, then select the linked child. Depending on the data recorded by the school and its visibility policy, you can review attendance, recitation progress, Quran page coverage, milestones, and published upcoming learning assignments.
The portal reflects school records; it does not independently calculate or replace the teacher’s assessment. Ask the school about a missing session or unexpected result rather than trying to edit it from a parent account.
Protect family access
Section titled “Protect family access”- Use your own account and a unique password.
- Review active sessions in your profile and revoke devices you do not recognize.
- Do not share invitation links or screenshots containing a child’s details.
- Sign out on shared devices.
- Contact the school immediately if the wrong child appears.
A parent role does not grant access to other students in the same halqa, school settings, staff records, or administrative reports.
